Facial Muscle Relaxant Injections

Facial Muscle Relaxant Injections are used to minimise the appearance of aging by reducing facial lines such as frown lines, forehead lines and crows-feet lines.

Facial Muscle Relaxant Injections can also be used to treat gummy smiles, jaw-slimming and excess underarm sweat. Facial Muscle Relaxant Injections work by relaxing the muscles which minimises the degree of normal muscle movement, resulting in a smoother skin appearance.

Walk In, Walk Out Treatment

How does it work?

Facial Muscle Relaxant Injections relax the facial muscles which overtime, will allow for expressions lines in the forehead, between the brows and crow’s feet to soften and in some cases, completely disappears while the product is active in the muscle. The effects of this treatment will be seen between one to two weeks post-treatment.

Advanced use of Facial Muscle Relaxant Injections

Facial Muscle Relaxant Injections can be used to drop the lower eyelid to open-up smaller eyes. Facial Muscle Relaxant Injections can also be used to raise the brow, also know as a ‘brow lift’.

How long do Facial Muscle Relaxant Injections last?

Typically speaking, the results of the Facial Muscle Relaxant Injections depend on the area of the face or body being treated. For example, treatment in the forehead and crow’s feet will typically last two-three months however, treatment between the brows and Masseter Muscles (jawline slimming treatment), can last between three and six months. In part, the more product that is injected into a muscle, the longer it will last – some muscles will only tolerate a small amount of product while other muscles require a much larger dose.

You may notice the effects of your treatment within 2 – 4 days however, it can take up to 14 days post-treatment to receive the full effect of your treatment.

It is important to note that you may require a touch-up appointment to achieve your desired results – this is because we believe in treating patients with a more conservative dosage. Once we have established the right anti-wrinkle dosage for you, only one treatment is usually required.
